The City of Cape Town has removed over a  thousand election posters of Tony Ehrenreich, ANC Mayoral candidate for Cape Town, from poles in Mitchell’s Plain. The ANC has threatened urgent High Court action. After a tense standoff today, the City has now agreed to return all the removed posters by 08h00 tomorrow morning.

Tony Ehrenreich will re-hang the first removed poster, which the City allegedly found so offensive for Mitchell’s Plain, tomorrow morning.

Tony is calling a Street Press Conference where further details the background and future steps  on this matter will be provided, as follows:
