A national wage strike by about 3000 cotton textile members of the Southern African Clothing and Textile Workers’ Union(SACTWU) enters its 7th day tomorrow. The strike has grown stronger by the day with an 85-90% participation rate now. There has been no further negotiations, which have been convened with the disputing parties. SACTWU will continue to responsively intensify the strike in furtherance of our demands for a living wage.
